What exactly is an Octadecagon? At Lothlorien Woods our "Yurt" is an 18-sided, custom-built and exquisitely appointed wilderness cabin unlike any other. Over two years in construction, Roy Conant, allowed the spirit of the "Yurt" and the materials incorporated therein to guide the realization of a sweet, peaceful, and relaxing accessible wilderness respite, Accessible from inside the "Yurt" is a bathroom with a roll-in shower with seat and other facilities with transfer provisions. Largely constructed from materials lovingly and gently harvested on-site, the Yurt at Rivendell is a sanctuary of peace and serenity, a place for rejuvenation and inspiration. Step back in time to a stress-free existence while the sun, the moon and the stars wink at you through the gentle undulations of the 100 year-old Douglas Firs Trees and the "Dome" of the Yurt itself. Relish the radiance of tranquility in your sojourn to heartsease and inspiration.

A special corner of the world. It had everything we needed for a couple of days off grid. Make sure to bring all your grocery plans since you won’t want to leave. Private, quiet, truly off grid. We loved the cozy craftsmanship, the cedar tub, the fire. Explored the woods and meadow. Even Mt Adams peeped her head through the clouds one morning. What a treat. We will be back.

This place is great for being off the grid. It has all the comforts of home and hot tub. If you like to read,games and listen to 💿 and relax. My wife brought her own pots that work well with a gas stove and oven. We also brought our single kerg for coffee. the drip coffee is great. We did all cooking in house. We stayed a week and brought all our food. and pets. When leaving we packed out all our stuff even trash. We will be back next year. Great caretakers !

The yurt is the most beautiful and peaceful place to get away. We have stayed there a couple times and everytime its such a breath of fresh air. It is always kept in pristine condition and is so peaceful and cozy. the perfect place to retreat and get away from the constant noise of town. Defined our favorite place to visit.
